This 3rd installment from the Red Queen series did not disappoint. We got to experience Mare being locked in the Kings Cage, unable to use her abilities. The Scarlet Guard has to regroup while she is imprisoned. I really liked the new perspectives that the story was told from. It helped to understand Evangeline and Cam so much better. You can't help but feel empathy for Evangeline after you get to see her life struggles. We found out just how much Maven's mind had been manipulated and controlled by his mother. Overall this was a great read and was packed full of character building and plot building. I cant wait to get to the last installment of the series!
