I can’t even put together my thoughts on how much I enjoyed this book. It was dark and emotional and it said everything most don’t want to say. Things that want to be brushed under the rug and forget. But somethings can not be forgotten. We all have darkness in us but we don’t act on that darkness. The main character Alex believes that, that darkness is all she is. She starts to see that she’s more then that when she starts making friends and she experiences things she didn’t really understand that being friendship and love. This was a real tear jerker and it was a bit hard to get through emotionally. You feel for the characters and their struggles and insecurities as well as their trauma. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend this!
