Maggie!!!! Always ripping my heart out with the most beautiful and original prose. I had been in a real reading slump until I picked this up and I tore through it. So beautifully woven together, a genuinely shocking plot twist, and characters you fall deeply for. Highly recommend
I knew pretty early on that Ted was going to be Lexie’s son but I was not expecting the emotional gutting of Innes dying so early on and when it was revealed that Margot was the woman he thought was his mother I actually gasped.
side note: i’m pretty sure this is what TJR *thought* she was doing with Evelyn Hugo but she didn’t even come close to achieving
