I can’t begin to describe how much I love this book. It kept me riveted the entire time I was reading - I didn’t want to put it down. I felt connected to most of the characters, I was invested in the story, and there was not a single page where I felt the story start to slow down.
I found this book because someone mentioned it had an ace character in it, and I just had to see how well it was done and let me tell you it was so hard hitting and accurate I thought for a moment someone had found my 15 year old self’s thoughts and emotions and put them down on the page in the form of Nancy. I also appreciated the way Kade’s identity was handled in regards to the way characters reacted in defence of him.
I know I’m going to be recommending this to everyone now because it’s rare I get sucked in to a book to the point I don’t want to put it down - usually I get bored after 50 pages and have to take long breaks - but the story just kept going and progressing at the perfect rate in my opinion. I did guess whodunnit about halfway through but it was still a fun mystery and an excellent reveal.
