Heartbreaking and provoking

I know historical fiction isn’t for everyone, but everyone needs to read at least one book about the holocaust. There is no way to call a story about this era “good”, but the way it was written was so authentic and heart wrenching. We can never even dream of putting ourselves in these brave souls shoes, but boy is it an incredible reminder of how good we have it. My momma heart really struggled through much of this book, but I am so grateful that I took the time to read it and I highly recommend others do too.
