The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

2.0

I have been seeing this books ( and series) for the past couple on months all the time on my fyp and I finally decided to read it. The only thing I felt was underwhelmed. I refuse to call this one of the best slow burn romance books like fr...

The characters are your typical grumpy MMC with a death mother and an ashole of a father and a chirpy bubbly sunshine type of FMC.

I've read books in the past were it was boss-employee type of romance but not once so far I have gotten across such an unbalanced power dynamic. She was really like almost a nobody that submitted a drunken review of one of the rides and the Director chose her( which okay fine I can fall for it and believe that he was intrigued by the gesture ) but after this she is so unprofessional and unhinged at times, talking really shity to her BOSS practically and he is just getting turned on by her existing ?!?!?

Their whole romance is instant LUST, like how is anyone putting this book into the slow burn category when they're kissing in the first quarter of the book?!?!?

The only thing that keeps you going is a tiny bit the plot which is kind of promising (although confusing at times by the filler) and the way he is acting with the FMC sister. Oh and the fact that is not that badly written from a writing perspective.
