Good Guys Don't Lie by Micalea Smeltzer

4.0

I love a good angst book. But there are many, many times when the angst is just to much and I need a nice sweet romance. This was one of those times and Good Guys Don't Lie was the perfect fit. This story is low on angst but full of sweet romance. Well, and a bit of spice with our bossy hero. Ophelia and Cree were destined for each other and, though Daire didn't understand, I loved how all of Cree's friends stood up and vouched for him. Ophelia is autistic and always felt like she was on the outside looking in. But Cree never treated her like that. In fact I loved how he treated her and got her to start opening up more. I'm not to happy how the lies came to be (frankly I think he deserved a smack down) but I'm glad they were handled with care and consideration. I love the sweetness of these two. They didn't need a whole lot of drama. They just needed each other. It was perfect.
