Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.

DNF @ 30something% | This was an attempted buddy read with Justine (morenamonologues) and Mari (macnbooks). I think this book was the start of my reading slump. Ok, work definitely was the big factor, but damn this book didn't help at all. While the premise was interesting enough, I couldn't get past the juvenile writing and laughable dialogue. I was reading this at the same time as Faker and honestly? I much preferred Faker and lord knows I Did Not Like that book.

Between these two "romance" books? At least I was able to finish Faker.

I think if I was younger and didn't know better (aka haven't read better fantasy/romance books by better writers) I might have liked this book well enough. But I didn't like this because I have read better written fantasy books.

Anyway don't recommend this book. Moving along now.
