The Flight of the Falcon by Daphne du Maurier

2.0

This book was a bit of a slog and I could have put it down and not returned at any point. The only redeeming qualities were the 1960s Italian setting, the contrast between generations who experienced WWII and those who didn't, and the dynamic between older fascist characters and younger, more Western-aligned Italians. Wouldn't recommend
