Lynn, you shocked me once again with your optimism in humans. I LOVE ITTTTTTT!
The Do-Over is one of my favorites because of its super light fantasy aspect and this doesn't have it so I think that was a disadvantage from the get-go. I was kinda craving it huhu.
It's a 4-star read because I think I read it at the wrong time and the conflict just hurt so much it hurt my head (I know it was necessary for her character development but still huhu).
The little lies Liz was telling... tbh I was trying to not let it bother me but it did huhu. And I think Wes didn't get the grovelling he deserved from Liz?! like Liz was saying Wes wasn't the good guy and he was a Walmart version of a 5-star restaurant (not exactly her words since I didn't read it so well because I was too hurt to read it properly). omg, we didn't deserve that at all! yeah the easy forgiveness from Wes,,,, I didn't like it but I understand you love her so much it hurts too.
OKAY, THAT'S ENOUGH OF THE NEGATIVES! THIS IS A SUPER GREATTTT BOOK LIKE OMYGOSH I WAS LAUGHING OUT LOUD FOR REALSIES. AT SOME POINT I WAS IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH MY FAMILY AND I WAS JUST LAUGHING BECAUSE OF WES! THEIR BANTER! GOSH, THEY MADE ME ENVY A CHILDHOOD FRIENDS TO LOVERS ROMANCE AND I DON'T EVEN WANT A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE!
Wes, you are my favorite character! you fell first! gosh, I love the love that you have for Liz. The protectiveness and the way you just take care of her. You love her wholeheartedly and that's so pure. The way you get close to her, you are so smart for that parking enemies! I love it so much I am shaking to the bones. You deserve everything and more!
Liz, you are so cute! I love the passion you have for movies and soundtracks. You have a certain kind of delusion I have but crazier?! That's so crazy you have outdone me in that category! love that for you! I hope you create soundtracks about rom-coms forever! You made me want to create a soundtrack for every crush I have and I have like a billion crushes so props to you!

WE HAVE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES AND BRAINS IT'S ALL GOOD huhu Lynn I love you for this you also shocked me in the do-over why didn't I think of it in this book
