The Good Girl, by Mary Kubica

Did not finish book.
The chapters are broken into being either "before" or "after" and only about 60ish pages in, you get a chapter from "after" where you see the character is found right after the "before" chapter where she got kidnapped. It ruined the suspense for me of the detective and her mom tracking her down since I knew they would find her and what her life would be like afterward and it was depressing. It is well-written and engaging though, so I understand why people enjoy it.
