Puss in Boots by Malcolm Arthur, Charles Perrault, Fred Marcellino

2.0

Summary of this story in one sentence: Talking cat who wants boots is inherited by a third son and proceeds to make that guy's life a thousand times better without ever being thanked and also can talk and no one cares. Also, undeserving, whiny third son marries a princess and presumably gets an ogre's castle by doing no work at all. Great... Also, how is this king that gullible? And why is everyone scared of this cat hurting them but not the cat talking? I think I'll stick to Puss in Boots in Shrek, but thanks anyway, Chalres Perrault.
