This book was written like a fairytale; I almost wondered if it had been written as a commission for teenagers in a spinal rehabilitation centre. If it had been I would maybe have given it 3/4 stars. Even so, the dialogue between the teenagers was toe curling, as was their use of outdated technology and music. As an adult novel I found the book irritating and a little ridiculous. The plot lines had no problem that plenty of money could not easily remedy (so many private planes and designer shops) and family/love issues all became perfect by the end. I like a feel good story but not one that so completely stretches the bounds of credibility.
