I'm glad I went into this one blind, because reading the description and reviews first would have thrown me off. but I loved this. I read it in one sitting and stayed up until 1 to finish. really good on audio. it's really not a thriller imo.....more of a twisty mystery, and it's about motherhood more than anything. also! people are hating on the ending, but

as someone who was raised by a single mom who would have done the same thing in a heartbeat,

that's what made the book for me.
