This book has my emotions all over the place. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it wasn't this. Kumagai handles grief and memory in a very unique way and keeps it attainable through prose and metaphor. I loved reading this, especially because it resonated with a deep and dark pit in my heart that I needed someone to put into words.
