Grayson by Lynne Cox

4.0

I loved this book. This is an excellent true story of a young girl and her experiences and efforts to help a lost baby whale. I was hooked from the first page and enthralled with the experience and visions described.

There is so much to be learned even from a wildlife perspective, the author takes us along as she begins with her morning swim and the fulfilling morning unfolds in a natural way, in keeping with her habits of training to be physically and mentally fit.

I was impressed with her maturity, amazingly at the young age of 17, and the discipline and initiative to excel at accomplishing more thru her efforts than the average youth of her age.

She pushes herself past normal human limits to solve the mystery of the small whale with so many efforts to save her newly found friend friend, or as she named him Grayson (the grey’s whales son).

It felt like I was there swimming right there beside them thru out the book because the descriptions were so good!

I usually don’t read non-fiction, but this one was recommended to me and I would 100 percent recommend this book for people of any age!
