This book was hyped up as brutal but I felt it lacked. A lot of background information was described in full detail. I did like the idea of the story, its what I was drawn to in the first place.

When Claire goes into detail about what has happened to her, no one believes her? I get the cop that was handling the case, but her family? They just wanted it sweep it under the rug
