If there’s one thing Licia Dawn knows how to do, it’s write spice!!!! Often spice in books can be really cringey but it’s definitely not the case here. There is also plenty of plot and it’s not just spice for the sake of spice.
There was one thing I wasn’t such a fan of in this book. Throughout book 1 and a lot of this one consent has been an important running theme and honestly really nice to see in a book. At one point Jay touches Gwen when he thinks she’s asleep and that just seems very out of character for Jay and very icky!
We get to see the friendship between Gwen and Mila blossom and it’s really nice to witness. It’s one of those zero judgement strong friendships that are just born out of nowhere. We learn a little about Gwens previous Jenn falling out with her but it feels a bit out of place in the story and it feels like it was not really necessary for the story but perhaps we get to see more in the next book.
There is a next book right? There has to be!!!
