Finding Joy by Adriana Herrera
4.0
Lovely, sweet and low angst romance, told from Desta's POV which works quite well, as he is the character who is re-discovering Ethiopia and we get the chance to do it alongside with him. As always with this author I finished the book hungry, looking for an Ethiopian restaurant that delivers and hoping they'll have injera fir the wat *laughs* Just in case, I've already found a recipe :P
Desta's is a little... self-absorbed and it's a good thing to see how, by the end, he had learn to not be it. I adore Elias and seeing them working their issues and their cultural differences in a country less than friendly to LGBT people was thrilling and delightful.
Braeden Sinclair's narration is truly wonderful.
