I fell in love with Kace from book #1. I thought for sure something would transpire between Kace and Goldie from the first moment the two of them met. I was in awe of the man who was in love with a woman that belonged to his best friend.
I was enamored by the man who I knew carried secrets that no one could have ever guessed until his story was told in Bourbon Truths. Kace is a very wounded, complex alpha who thinks he deserves nothing. Layla thinks he deserves everything and wants to be the one to give it to him.
This book was everything. Kace’s past ripped my soul apart. I was desperately trying to hope Kace found his happiness with the one person that spoke to his soul, Layla. The push and pull was amazing between Kace and Layla. He needed that one special person to love him despite all his faults and put his demons to rest.
Bourbon Truths was an amazing way to end the entire series. I’m happy that Kace also found what he was so desperately seeking.
As I stated in a previous review, this series is one of the best I've read and will be going back to do a re-read time and time again!
