Listening Still by Anne Griffin

reflective

2.75

I chose this book because I really wanted to hear Nicola Coughlan read to me. The premise of the book sounded interesting enough. Apart from the main character being able to hear the (recently) dead, this book felt very real. She seemed to be having a life crisis questioning everything from her marriage to her job. It took till the last half or quarter of the book for her to actually reflect and start to decide what she wanted. I saw another review say that the talking to the dead plot wasn't really necessary and I'd have to agree, she could have had any other job and the story would basically still be the same.
