He had me most of the way through this novel... until the killer turned out to be the person I initially thought, but convinced myself it couldn't be because there were too many plot holes.
Well written overall and I agree he is good at setting the stage... but for me this was a miss. The ending was disappointing, and that's a shame because I thought I was going to like it.
