every time I think about these characters, I am overwhelmed that they exist ❤️

There’s something so stunningly comforting about Emily Henry’s books. I believe I picked up this book when I truly needed it in my life. This story, these characters are so real and so beautifully vulnerable. For people expecting just a rom-com, this book discusses grief, feeling hopeless, and finding your steps towards healing and acceptance. Living life the way you’re ready to, allowing chances and love into your life and knowing you’ve earned every ounce of happiness.

People We Meet On Vacation is one of my favorite books and I was so scared the other Emily Henry books wouldn’t live up to that love. But I am so so happy that I was wrong and that Beach Read is now joining the pile.

It’s so beautiful, it’s so real. January and Gus truly feel like summer in the middle of winter. And this book is a comforting and much-needed hug. Loved it. 🥹🤍
