OH MY GOD. THIS WAS SO GOOD???

first off, i would love to mention the bi rep. every time i see a novel with a bi female lead or love interest, they always end up with a fem aligned person. which is obviously ok! but it was sooo refreshing to see one end up with a man and i felt so seen since i am a bi, fem aligned person who has a preference for men :)

darcy is the main character in this novel and she is written so well. gonzales didn't make her only personality trait her sexuality and she is a greatly detailed character and i love her!! her internalized biphobia was so intriguing to read and so relatable. she did do some wrongs but overall, i still think she was a great character. her flaws make her, her. it's so refreshing to see a character who isn't perfect and it makes me love her even more.

alexander brougham, the male love interest, was so endearing and i adored him. his story was so upsetting and sjhdhdk i'm happy that he finally found someone who makes him happy!!

the side characters such as darcy's sister (ainsley), her mom, finn, and more absolutely made the book. the only character i really dislike is brooke tbh.

anyway! good book! read it! rn!
