The Whole30: The 30-Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom by Melissa Hartwig Urban, Dallas Hartwig
4.0
I've heard a lot about Whole30 in recent years but I was only hearing bits and pieces. I had heard about how it has helped with weigh-loss, how it helps reset your digestive system, how it can help people figure out what foods disagree with them, etc.
I've had weird digestive issues the last few years and I haven't been able to really figure it out. It may be dairy, it may be gluten, it may be neither of those, I don't really know. At the beginning of 2019, I decided enough was enough. I bought this to really learn about Whole30 and I'm so glad I did! I'm excited to start my first Whole30 armed with all the knowledge I gained from this book. It also had a bunch of recipes to help me kick this off on the right foot.
I'd happily recommend this book to anyone who:
- is considering starting their first Whole30
- has had digestive issues and really wants to get to the truth of the matter
- has had trouble sticking with healthy eating habits and/or maintaining a healthy weight
