You Have the Right to Remain Innocent by James Duane

Wow. Would highly recommend, from a self protection POV. Takeaways: the police can ask you your name and what you are doing right here, right now in the present. Respectfully decline to answer any other questions. If you are arrested, repeat ‘I would like a lawyer’ and no other words. If the police or an government department investigator asks for an informal verbal interview, decline but suggest they send their questions in writing, and you may answers their questions in writing.

The stories in this book blow my mind. It’s crazy to think how twisted the us legal system is.
