I am sad to say that I just flat out lost interest.
A book with magical shadows, murder, mystery, and a series of chaotic bad decisions was somehow written so flat that I think 2 day old soda would have had more fizz...
I absolutely hate this because I wanted to like it so badly! I loved TFOTA series ans this is just such a massive disappointment 😞
I checked other reviews to see if it was worth continuing and I genuinely can't fight through 250 of glacial monotony in the hopes that the last 50 pages will be worth it.
A sad DNF for me 😞
