This book surprised me by having a verifiable plot! I stayed relatively interested in the story throughout the entirety of this book. Which is saying a lot because there is no reason that this book was 800+ pages. Big chunks of it could have been edited out without taking away from the story.
I didn't care as much for the story line involving Bryce and Hunt. I don't find them to be very likable characters. I don't buy that they are mates. It just doesn't seem believable. I feel their connection was strong enough to merit a mating bond.
I was much more invested in the side characters story lines because I felt more connected to them. I wish this book was more of a story involving the side characters instead of focusing on Hunt and Bryce, and their sex life.
The cliffhanger at the end was remarkable! It made me very happy that I only had to wait 24 hours before the next book came out.
