I struggled with this book at first and needed a while until I could wrap my head around the setting and the plot and knew what was going on, even though i am positive that i never truly knew what was going on.
The characters where great, the book itself beautifully executed, and i am not regretting taking my time with this at all. Now i am ready for the other books of the series.
