I believe that this was supposed to be thriller vibes but I didn't feel it here rather felt like it was some kind of a gossipy vibe novel?

I was excited to start this because of the synopsis but I would say that it did not give me what I hoped.

I didn't have a problem with the writing in general, mostly the pacing and how it was utilized. Those aspects would be the overall execution of the plot, the consistency and of course the overall performance of the story.

The first few chapters of the novel was interesting, it was pretty gripping for me, however, the start of the 45% and some of the 55% up to the end was frustrating and at the same time parts where I still don't know how to feel yet.

It also felt so long most of the times with the alternating povs, it would have been better if it just focused on Sophia to make it more suspenseful.

As for the characters. Definitely hated a bunch of characters SPECIFICALLY RILEY AND EVA. LET'S NOT FORGET THAT STEP-FATHER AND SUB-PLOT AROUND IT, I HATED IT.

Final Verdict. 50/50. Could have been better.
