Layla is hopeless at dating and is concerned she won’t be able to complete her ten year plan since she can’t even get a second date let alone marriage. Queue her neighbors and friends offering to fake date so she doesn’t feel as awkward while dating. As listed in the cover, it’s friends to lovers and reverse harem, so you can likely guess what is going to happen next.

The story was well written and there was plot, although definitely a lot of spice.

The only thing that really bugged me was how fast she forgave the guys after the wedding. Zach and Luke were absolute assholes. Josh wasn’t nearly as bad so I get that one but Layla just forgiving Zach and Luke because they were talking about on in their podcast for a few hours and a little apology? They couldn’t have hurt Layla more if they tried but they’re forgiven and happily ever after? I expected more.
