I really enjoyed getting Warner’s perspective, especially following what happened at the end of book 1.
The ending of this book though.
I marked this as no diversity because we didn’t really get any new characters and it was almost completely restricted to Warner, his father, and Warner’s lieutenant.
Spoiler
Warner reading Juliette’s journal felt like an intrusion of privacy. I think it brings more awareness to him of Juliette’s mental state during her time imprisoned. The ending of this book though.

Graphic: Mental illness and Murder
Moderate: Torture, Child abuse, and Gun violence
Murder of children mentioned. The child abuse was in the past for the MC.
