Fifth Born by Zelda Lockhart

It was a good read: easy and quick. The author's style of writing is good in that the story is almost written poetically in the way she explains things. Her choice of words and flow of words all fit well together, but at times I had to skim over it because It was getting in the way of the story. It was a good full story without being very long, which I appreciate. The ending was great in that it was just enough but I did want more: I wanted to know what Odessa's brothers and sisters thought about her new situation and how justice was served. I really wanted something horrible to happen to Loni, I think as the readers, we are almost owed that. Overall, it was a good book that I'd recommend anyone to read. As far as reading any other books by this author, I don't feel moved enough to seek them out, but If I come across one then I might read it.
