Protecting What's His by Tessa Bailey

3.0

I liked it enough, but I felt like the writer was trying to emulate 50 Shades (I have been traumatized by this book I think - I compare every CR with 50 Shades and if it smells a little "Shady" it loses points) while giving us a gripping thriller. It did not work all that well.

The sex was pretty awesome, if you're into powerful, dominant males who tell you what to do and what you'll like. There wasn't much build up and that was a little disappointing. But all in all, it wasn't a complete waste.
