I'm trying to read diversely and read more characters that have lived experiences different than mine. Weirdly I find some of the best examples of diverse characters to be in YA books. This book had a fat character (who I did identify with) who was also Ace (not an experience I identify with) so it's always nice to read new life experiences.

There was one point where the main character's anxiety caused her to be annoyed at her mother (I think that's who it was) and she was just mad that her mom wouldn't help plan and commit and the annoyance ran straight into borderline rage and I know a lot of people won't find that believable or will find it very strange but I have had that exact same experience happen so I was able to entirely relate to it.

Overall cute little read with interesting characters.
