“Once upon a time, Andrew had cut out his heart and given it to this boy, and he was very sure Thomas had no idea that Andrew would do anything for him. Protect him. Lie for him. Kill for him.”
Right from the start, this book captivated me. It left me feeling like my heart had been ripped from my body—and I loved every minute of it! Rotting forests, monsters, mysteries, exquisite pining, obsession, mental health and ace rep—this book has it all.
From the stunning cover to the beautiful writing, incredible illustrations, and immersive atmosphere, you’re quickly drawn into the story. I think it’s best not to know too much of the plot in advance because, if this is your vibe, you will absolutely adore this book.
By the end, I was left screaming, overwhelmed with the urge to reread it immediately.
