first, god damn the cover is so cool. one of my favourite looking books :)
i enjoyed this book , a lot. i didnt feel like it was dragged out and the charachters are great.

something that did annoy me, was mid way to the story. in a completely random paragraph the author used the f slur. it couldve been loser or dumbass or anything really but the author used a slur and it left me a little shocked, didnt expect it from this book. ive read it over and over and it couldve been COMPLETELY cut out and everything in that paragraph would remain the same.

the ending was so disgusting, i love it so much. it had me feeling twisted in my stomach with only 2 pages.

something great was the book wasnt gorey or gruesome, yet being about canibalism. im highly sensitive to gore whether its images or just depictions of it.

Oleg knew it was not an act that could be forgotten, let alone forgiven.

It felt weird caring for someone so vulnerable. He wondered if crystal felt the same way.

"well he can eat my falafels,"

"sir, do you have human flavour? id like two scoops, please."

"ill have to wait until i see you on the other side." Oleg paused for several beeps and then chuckled to himself. "Although after the life ive led, theres a good chance were not heading the same place."

if this was love, Jason had reflected that morning on the bathroom mirror , it was consuming him.

---love?"
nobody has ever used that word around him apart from his mother , and she always did so in a way that meant well but, left him feeling suffocated.
