Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
5.0
I love it, I love it, I love it!
Such an unexpected plot twist with an expected outcome(but still a bit uncertain until the very end which makes Austen's writing so great)!
For some, the book might seem a bit boring until you've read the first half of it, but after that it gets exciting and you cannot stop reading. What I really love is the way Austin portrays her characters and deceives even her readers into thinking they are just like they seem on the surface to others, but makes their character grow in such a great manner as you progress toward the end.
To me, her writing style is a bit slow but all of a sudden captivating, so my next obvious step is to start reading Sense and sensibility (written BEFORE Pride and prejudice).
P.S. the books was published in 1813, and it's dissapointing to see how people haven't changed a bit since(all those rumors and prejudice about everyone), but also hopeful considering the fact main characters end up being happy despite of what everyone thinks or says.
