The Book of Accidents by Chuck Wendig

4.0

I enjoy Chuck Wendig's humor. I think that's why I picked this up and I hoped that he would write horror well. Sometimes the humor felt a little forced, but I didn't mind - it still made me laugh. Sometimes the action screeched to a lull, but it wasn't that noticeable. I remember thinking at times that a character's actions seemed unlikely, or that a reason something happened was solely for the sake of the plot needing to go a certain way, but I enjoyed reading this book and I think that's all that matters. It definitely had creepy moments and it was trippy seeing the different versions of the other realities. Solid book.
