Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
sad tense fast-paced
The book moves fast, yet barely moves forward, so much so that whole chapters are almost entirely repeats of previous chapters, sometimes back to back.

Between that, and a whole character arc dealing with emotional abuse, gaslighting, and bullying, I just couldn’t keep going.
