Second re-read of the year. Enjoyable read but I wasn't necessarily drawn in my the characters to the point where I couldn't put the book down. Gave me handmaid's tale vibe but for a younger audience, and covers similar social issues. Tackles a wide range of issues that teenagers face such as apparent, fitting in at school, friendship trouble, bullying etc. Really liked the author's writing style and how she created a whole new world that you could imagine happening in the future. Only reason I'm giving it 3.75 as compared to the other books I have read this year, it didn't make a strong impact on me as some of the other stories and novels.
Graphic: Body shaming, Bullying, Eating disorder, Emotional abuse, Infertility, Suicide, Gaslighting, and Toxic friendship
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship
