This series has been pretty spectacular all around and I am always excited when a new installment gets released. This time around we are brought back to the New York Admirals and our MCs are Kyle and Eric, a couple of characters that we met briefly in book one. It does feel a bit like this is a sequel to [b:Game Changer|40601927|Game Changer (Game Changers, #1)|Rachel Reid|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1529562942l/40601927._SY75_.jpg|60235367], which was my least favourite of the series, but still includes mention of characters from other books. Everyone's favorite bad boy Ilya Rozanov also makes a couple quick appearances as well and I cannot express just how much I appreciated it. I am absolutely gagging for the next Ilya and Shane book, but alas I digress…

Bringing it back to the current installment, I enjoyed it well enough. I liked Eric’s health consciousness and as a newbie to dating men his eagerness was adorable. Kyle seemed fun and flirty and was exactly what Eric needed to broaden his sexual horizons. Their sexual chemistry was great. Kyle’s easy flirting set the stage for what turned out to be some unexpectedly kinky, but no less enjoyable sexual encounters. It was a solid story, I just felt that it was missing a little something to really blow me away. I know this author has greatness in her as she totally blew my mind with the previous two books. I'm excited to see what more we have in store for us. I'm interested in learning more about Troy who is starring in the next book; and of course more Ilya!
