Oh how I loved this tragedy of a book *sobs*. I am such a hopeless romantic, so when the couple is doomed IT MAKES ME CRY EVERYTIME!

Afterlove has such a unique romantic premise (reaper love story). It was well set up (with a before and after) which made me really ache when Ash became a reaper.

Ash and Poppy's love was so pure, it also felt natural. Some people find it a tad insta love-y but I found the pace perfect for teenagers.

The reapers themselves and the lore that shrouds them was so well throughout. I also loved the nod to Charon (yes of course the greek mythology nerd would love that reference).
