Like You Mean It by Jillian Liota

Like You Mean It is the first book that I've read by Jillian Liota, and I'm glad that I did read it. The author did a great job of hooking me right from the start- I loved the way that Annie met Cole- so adorable! And I absolutely loved Cole's interactions with Jones. There were parts that I had difficulty with as well; I couldn't quite grasp the age thing (this is a weird thing for me- I am a timeline person and can't just go with the flow when things get confusing for me here)- primarily when it came to understanding Annie's relationship with her ex. And Cole's dating of Jess was someone bothersome to me. Things just wrapped up too quickly for me at the end, also.
But, I will say the writing was done really well, I liked the characters, and Jillian Liota did a great job of making them feel real. I will definitely look out for more books by this author!
