I Know Who You Are: How an Amateur DNA Sleuth Unmasked the Golden State Killer and Changed Crime Fighting Forever by Barbara Rae-Venter

4.0

Interesting account of how new technology used to help in genecology searches has been adapted by law enforcement to track down serial killers and serial rapists.

The Golden State killer is the headliner here, but there are plenty of other examples in the book.

I'm a little shocked that there is push back from the public about using commercial sites (such as 23andme) to track down matches to criminal DNA, especially when details of some of those cases contain some horrific details and the perpetrator is still out there.

Good, informative read.
