This book was a solid reimagining of Frankenstein. Although it was a slow start, the author did a good job of mimicking Shelley’s style. Without question, the creature was my favorite character in the book, although I felt its affection for Mary was a little bit far-fetched.
Spoiler I was also furious that, like the original Victor, she abandoned her creation to fend for itself and to most likely perish (although I liked that the conclusion was as open-ended as the original).
An interesting read for fans of Frankenstein!
