Introduction
Knight of Passion has been on my TBR for the longest time. I will be honest I was first drawn to these books by the covers, because the covers are superb and just so gorgeous and romantic. I love how this story felt. I will say that I do think the narrator was well done on this, I do prefer male narrators over female for historicals, that is just my personal preference. I found the premise of the story so interesting and it did have a bit of a atmospheric vibe to it especially with the courtly setting which I found super fascinating. If you love medievals, or courtly politic themes, then this one will work for you.

My Outlook
I had some mixed feelings about this book if I am being honest. I think a part of it was I was super distracted while reading which I think affected my thoughts on it. I will say that there were some aspects to the story I really enjoyed. Now I will say that the historical authenticity was super well done on this one. No surprise, as Margaret Mallory has always done a good job with this. I also enjoyed the courtly themes to the story, with the heroine being a companion to the Queen. This did have some tropes that aren't my favorite. So I will say that those threw me off for a bit. I am not big on the revenge plot and I did enjoy how the hero was firm with the heroine on the consequnces of her revenge and how it would drive a wedge between them. I found the romance to be mediocre though, I just didn't connect with them as a couple and didn't feel much on the emotion of it. But it was still an enjoyable solid read

Overall View
I found Knight of Passion to be a superbly written romance that was strong on the historical elements and had a feeling of intrigue and passion that was on point!
