There is so much that I adored about this book (and I am absolutely begging for a Silas sequel!). Silver Rapids was a charming town that I wish I could, and all the paranormal elements were wonderfully done. I loved the wolves and their makeshift pack.
I loved the hurt/comfort of Jamie and Finn’s relationship and how it went both ways: both men healing wounds in the other’s heart. The plot was intriguing and was well developed.
I dropped one star only because the last quarter of the book, to me, felt unbalanced between the spice and the plot. The conclusion of the plot felt a bit rushed between spice scenes and I wish the book had been a touch longer to flesh out the conclusion. I loved this one and just didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to return to this world!
