Harley Quinn, Vol. 2: Power Outage by Amanda Conner

4.0

Back at it again with another volume of Harley Quinn!
Though this one is strange in the issues they use to make up the volume. See, they're two chapters in it where one is about Harley in comic con and the other is about this weird stranded island parody with the Joker. The latter I refuse to believe is not a one-shot, for how out of place it feels in the events of the story.
Either way, I enjoyed both, but the main story here is about Power Girl and Harley Quinn.
It's loads of fun seeing Harley trying to convince Power Girl, who temporarily loses her memory, about all these lies, yet they hang out like best friends would. Going shopping, eating at the mall, travelling through outer space through a strange hole and fighting space Hilter...Maybe that last part isn't what best friends would normally do, but you get the idea.
Overall, another fun comic by Amanda Conner who understands how fun Harley can be.
Oh, and there's a backstory one shot that I think it's the best version of her origin story. Because this one has Harley already having a few screws loose which makes the whole manipulation thing a bit more believable since it seems like she's always had a thing for crazy, murderous guys.
Until next time, see you Harleen!
