Both of these books are great, but I will admit this one is much more adult than TFK, just in case anyone wants their kids to read this. It can definitely be a teaching moment (there's nothing graphic), but just be aware. As an adult though I loved this one as well, and I especially appreciate her handling of: I think it's an important subject to talk about, since kids can be so easily manipulated, and I think she handles it well. And it's easy to understand, if a teenager were to read this.Â

the relationship between Noam and Lehrer. It's not portrayed as a "romantic" thing (looking at you Twilight 👀), and she really keeps a nice balance between Noam's own angst/feelings after being groomed but she also makes it very clear that this relationship is wrong (usually using Dara as the voice of reason).Graphic: Adult/minor relationship, Death, Domestic abuse, Physical abuse, and Toxic relationship
